It was a great two days of learning, sharing and exchanging ideas with the team from Ultra Clean Technology (UCT)during the UCT DRIVE Leadership Transformation Journey 2026!!
Organised as a customised corporate leadership training programme, the workshop focused on an important question... How can leaders make better decisions, take ownership and work more effectively across teams?
At Devnet Global, we believe leadership development goes beyond theories and presentation slides. It's about understanding real workplace challenges and finding practical ways to become better leaders.
And that was exactly the focus of this programme.
Two Days of Learning, Sharing and Real Workplace Challenges
This two-day leadership development programme brought together managers, functional leaders and emerging leaders to explore what effective leadership looks like in today's fast-moving business environment.
Throughout the workshop, participants took part in interactive discussions, leadership self-assessments, decision-making exercises and collaborative group activities.
The programme covered five important areas:
Leadership Effectiveness: Understanding personal leadership strengths and areas for improvement.
Decision-Making Excellence: Learning to make timely, informed decisions, even when facing uncertainty.
Leadership Agility: Adapting to changing business priorities and workplace challenges.
Ownership & Accountability: Taking responsibility for decisions, actions and results.
Team Collaboration: Working across departments to address shared business challenges.
Rather than simply discussing leadership concepts, the activities encouraged participants to reflect on situations they encounter in their daily roles.
Turning Leadership Discussions into Practical Action
One of the key components was the Team Challenge Workshop, where participants worked together to identify business challenges, explore possible root causes and discuss practical solutions.
The programme also included business case discussions, leadership decision simulations and accountability reflection exercises.
These activities created opportunities for participants to exchange perspectives, challenge assumptions and consider different approaches to workplace decision-making.
Most importantly, the programme introduced individual leadership development plans, team challenge charters and leadership commitments to encourage continued learning beyond the classroom.
Because leadership development shouldn't stop when the workshop ends!
